The build system is more like Minecraft and far less elegant but still good. Just wait out the year and see 👍Įmpyrion is okay. Star Citizen for example has great graphics, large planets, and cool ships, but I can make all those ships, place my own planets, and just about do all the jobs in SE that is available in SC. There are definitely space exploration related games that do certain things better, but overall lack the support and previously mentioned modularity. And there are not really games that pass space engineers in terms of scale or modularity, but it suffers from lack of developers and some shortsightedness. Until Npcs and endgame content is updated(Npc update comes right after the community update, which is the next update, and endgame content comes after that) this year you gotta be creative. Make it multiplayer or play on a server or join a community. Make your own factions and planetary system with your favorite planets and make bosses out of BP ships and set them as your goal(while playing in survival) Set economy on and use the economy system to get ships or resources. And if you don't just want more projects then I could only suggest 1, and it is a project. I can give you a great list of builds/projects that you could work on(let me know).
