This guy has released several fixes for various games (including a Dead Space 2 mouse fix) and I talked with him briefly about the possibility of making a fix for the DLC issue. This really ruins the resource management aspect of the game. As it currently stands, DLC is forced upon the player in the form of free weapons/ammo and such in the shop, even from the beginning of the game.
